My name is Brian Tinnion. I have been a professional footballer, coach and manager in England for a period of 22 years. I am a fully qualified UEFA coach and also hold Child Protection and First Aid Certificates along with CRB Checks.
I started my career at Newcastle United and won the FA Youth Cup in 1985 and played over 700 professional games during my career with many highlights, especially scoring the winning goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup at Anfield in 1994. I also coached at the Bristol City Academy for eight years, before managing the club for two years from 2004.
Costa Football Academy was formed in September 2007, to give all the English children in the Alhaurin area a chance to play and enjoy their football, integrate with and compete against other Spanish clubs and to give opportunities for talented players to be linked with professional clubs in England. We have recently had scouts from Everton and Southampton watching our games for potential players.

Our training facilities at the magnificent Campo De Futbol in Alhaurin El Grande.
I have worked extremely hard throughout the summer to register two teams into the Spanish League. The two teams are Under 15s, which covers 12, 13 & 14 year olds, and an Under 11 team, which covers 8, 9 & 10 year olds. We are based at the Campo De Futbol, Alhaurin-El-Grande, Malaga which has an excellent full size astro turf pitch, which can be divided off into smaller pitches for the younger players.
Our coaching sessions cover boys and girls from 4 years to 16. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy themselves as we cover all levels of abilities in the coaching.
We currently have two sponsors - Dave and Jackie at the Insurance Centre in Coin, plus Jess From Alhaurin Auctions in Alhaurin-el-Grande. |
